What does 'In Pictura' mean? It is Latin for 'In the picture'. Students of the language will recall "In pictura est puella", meaning "In the picture is the girl."

Tourism

Today, the public are quite discerning about where they go to spend precious leisure time. With attractions becoming more and more diverse and sophisticated, and therefore costly, the promotion of that investment is all important. There is a certain flair to getting a message across and making a venue or location appeal to visitors from all walks of life. By having a sympathetic approach to the subject, InPictura can assist with this promotion.

Some business areas which would benefit from top quality photography are:

Theme Parks

Themed Attractions

Zoos & Wildlife Parks

Historical Monuments

and many more.

Architecture

For many years the 'artists impression' has been the most common initial public reveal of what a development will look like on completion. It is extremely difficult for the public to buy into an idea that is a crayon or pencil drawing. Partly because it is 'art' and partly because it conveys an impression of not yet being in existence.

Admittedly, recent advances in architectural computer programs allow the architect the freedom to present almost photo-realistic images partly based on the designs held within the PC, and partly on scanned or stock images of street scenes and surroundings. However, although they are excellent renditions of light and shade, these 3D images do not convey the atmosphere and tonal qualities of the materials used in construction.

For a true 100% accurate rendition of what a property or development looks like, a picture is as they say, 'worth a thousand words', or in this case - a thousand artist's impressions.

Architectural photography helps assist all of the industry sectors mentioned above, even in tourism. Please get in contact if there some special requirement you have which is not listed on this site.

Fine Art

As mentioned on the home page, fine art is a term which suffers from extreme misuse and serious abuse. suffice to say that with a creative eye on the subject, and the correct lighting and treatment of the resulting images, even the most mundane subject can be presented in a fine art mould. The reasons for requiring this technique could be many, but as far as property is concerned, fine art photography can be used to enhance or even define an interior.

Here are a few suggestions:

Hotel Room Decoration (Particularly if the room or hotel is 'themed')
